Yay!!!! The big furry guy brought me a bottled water! no more tap for me.....Yay!!!! This guy is great. And I really like his tie.

Marvel's birthday!!

Today is Marvel's birthday! She did great getting born at 7.5 lbs. and 18.5" tall. She's so sweet, easy-going, and adorable.

Vita is resting and recovering. The c-section went as planned but it is a difficult recovery. While she's stuck in bed, i've been able to be more active with the baby and hold her and move her around.....i even changed her first messy diaper. it wasn't pretty but not as bad as i worried about. Marvel seemed to appreciate getting cleaned and cooperated by not crying. lucky me!

Vita and I are very happy that this long awaited day has arrived and that Marvel healthy. I'll post more on this site soon. enjoy the pics.

C-Section Scheduled for November 27th!!!!

There was some question as to whether or not a c-section was deemed necessary, but in the end it appears to be the safest way to go. Therefore, Vita is scheduled for this coming Monday morning, November 27th, for a c-section. Please continue to check this blog because we will update it with pictures when the time comes. Less than six days to go!

38 Weeks Today!

On Monday we had a doctor's appointment and the baby's activity levels and heartrate are both excellent. She is approximately 6.9 lbs today. Vita's health, measurements, and blood pressure continues to be perfect as well. We find out for sure next Tuesday whether or not the c-section will be needed. Vita's parents come into town next Wednesday and we're looking forward to Thanksgiving with everyone! Keep you posted!

37 Full Weeks Today!

Hello all! Our daughter is considered a full term baby today. This morning we had an ultrasound and learned that our daughter is 6 lbs 3 oz. -- a perfect size for 37 weeks.

This is a great still of her face from the ultrasound, pretty good for a basic ultrasound picture, no 3D here. You can see her profile really well. Rob thinks she has my lips and my nose.

Ahhh...it was supposed to be a cool autumn Sunday in Santa Monica...instead it was 86 degrees and WAY too sunny. Oh, and that's 36 weeks of belly, baby!
